I’ve been playing for 50 years. I was 9 years old when i started playing Guitar.I became a musician when i got into my first band at 12 years old, with my brother and we got our first gig at a football club every home game at Dandenong foot ball club.
What was the first concert you ever went to?
First concert was an out door show in Dandenong with Billy Thorpe in 1968.with some friends. The memorable thing was live music.
What gear do you use?
I use a Fender Telecaster 1990, and a Vox AC 30,
What are you looking for from Fandalism?
To make contact with other players
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
Scotty Moore, because his Guitar playing was so raw. And the Beatles, i loved all the Beatles music the white album is great.
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
The list of bands, Hubs Force 60,s Mammoth, Dave and the Derros, Bandit,Carson taylor Band,Blue Dukes Little Riff . The list goes on, rock and roll and my love of Blues.I’ve got a new song and video going up on you tube soon.
If you could jam with anyone, who would it be?
I’d like to jam with Geoff Achison because i like his style of playing it’s his own.
What’s the biggest audience you ever performed to? What’s the smallest?
The biggest audience was at the Mushroon Evolution Concert 1981, at the myer music bowl over 2 days 100,000. the smallest audience was 5 people at the launching place hotel.
You’re stuck on a desert island and only get to bring one album with you. What do you pick?
I would pick The Beatles White album because of so many different kinds of music on the one album, but on a desert island no album is good with out a record player.
